We are Bob and Sharon Houtwed and we would like to introduce you and your dogs to Heartland Dog Treats. We live in Deshler, NE and are distributors for our dog treats that are made by a locker company that is located in the U.S.A. and has been in business for over 65 years. It is USDA inspected and our treats are made from USDA inspected beef. We have been in business ourselves for the past 3 years selling these treats.

We are happy to send our customers any combination of jars or bags of treats that meets their needs.

Our treats have a very long shelf live. They can be kept in the freezer just like meat for a year or more. The ingredients in them are: beef, rice protein, sugar, brown sugar, garlic powder, spices, and sodium nitrite. Our treat sticks are especially liked by dog trainers and considered a “high ante” type of training item. Unlike many of the baked biscuit type treats, they are a meaty treat that is something like a lot of the meat sticks you see in the jars in a lot of stores. They aren’t a rawhide type of treat either, which makes them easy for the dog to eat quickly. When a package of the treats is opened, they have an aroma of very good jerky that dogs can’t resist. We’ve had a lot of people tell us that their picky dogs wouldn’t ever eat any dog treats until they tried ours.
